Your Appointment
Your appointment will consist of a consultation explaining your diagnosis and treatment options. Unless you have been advised otherwise, any needed and accepted treatment will generally be provided that same day. Most often root canal therapy at our office can be completed in one visit. Occasionally a second visit is required in more involved or complex cases.
Please assist us by providing the following information at the time of your visit:
- Your referral slip made out by your dentist and any X-rays if applicable
- A list of medications you are presently taking
- If you have medical or dental benefit, bring the necessary completed forms. This will save time and allow us to help you process any claims.
IMPORTANT: All patients under the age of 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at the initial visit.
Please alert the office if you have a medical condition that may be of concern prior to your treatment (i.e. diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever, etc.) or if you are on any medication (i.e. heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc.)
IMPORTANT: Those patients requiring antibiotic prophylaxis for cardiac conditions or prosthetic joints etc. should pre-medicate for all visits. If there are any questions, please contact our office.
